Analysis: Gordon led the Chargers in both rushing and receiving, totaling a career-high 91 yards through the air. He's rushed for 77, 78 and 78 yards in his last three games with a pair of touchdowns. Gordon's likely to go over the 1,000-yard mark for the first time after he finished with 997 last season.
|Dec. 10, 2017 6:35 PM PT7:35 PM MT8:35 PM CT9:35 PM ET2:35 GMT10:35 7:35 PM MST9:35 PM EST8:35 PM CT6:35 UAE (+1)21:35 ETNaN: - Melvin Gordon ran for 78 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries Sunday in the Los Angeles Chargers' 30-13 win over the Washington Redskins. He added one reception for five yards.
Analysis: Gordon only averaged 3.5 yards per carry and struggled to find much room in this one. He has gone five straight games without a 100-yard effort but the Chargers are red hot right now so no reason to change much. Gordon should go over 1,000 yards for the first time in three seasons though next week's matchup in Kansas City is a tough one.
|Dec. 3, 2017 4:47 PM PT5:47 PM MT6:47 PM CT7:47 PM ET0:47 GMT8:47 5:47 PM MST7:47 PM EST6:47 PM CT4:47 UAE (+1)19:47 ETNaN: - Melvin Gordon ran for 77 yards on 19 carries Sunday in the Los Angeles Chargers' 19-10 win over the Cleveland Browns. He added four receptions for 29 yards.
Analysis: Gordon didn't have a huge day but with 29 yards receiving, still went over 100 yards from scrimmage. He has rushed for at least 65 yards in three straight games and a matchup next week against Washington could help him get back to a 100-yard effort.
|Nov. 23, 2017 4:54 PM PT5:54 PM MT6:54 PM CT7:54 PM ET0:54 GMT8:54 5:54 PM MST7:54 PM EST6:54 PM CT4:54 UAE (+1)19:54 ETNaN: - Melvin Gordon ran for 65 yards on 21 carries Thursday in the Los Angeles Chargers' 28-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys. He added three receptions for 23 yards.
Analysis: Gordon is averaging a meager three yards per carry over the last three weeks, but he's received at least 21 touches in each of those games. It's that consistently heavy workload, not to mention his nine touchdowns this season, that keeps the third-year back a trustworthy fantasy starting option.

Analysis: Though Gordon has lost some passing-down work to Austin Ekeler in recent weeks, he's still been good for close to 20 touches per game and continues to find the end zone with regularity. The workhorse back is now up to nine touchdowns and has scored at least one in seven of the Chargers' 10 games.
